Report of Savate Seminar of Nepal

11th March 2024 Mr. Jean Pascal Santoro technical ambassador of Asian Savate confederation (ASC) arrived in Kathmandu and welcomed by Mr. Laxman Basnet president of Nepal Savate association and Mr. Ang Temba Sherpa.

They visited old town as world heritage place Bhaktapur. Then they visited one government schools in Banepa where Mr.Basnet taught savate to 35 students.

2nd day 12 March, early in the morning Savate training to started with 60 students. Then, Savate teaching continued to 55 students in another club located Janajoti school kavre, all training focus on Savate technical points.

Mr. Jean Pascal had meeting with French embassy in Kathmandu with the ambassador. They had a very good meeting about Savate development in Nepal and South of the Asia.

 

Nepal 4

 

On the 16th of March 2024 the second Savate technical, coaching and refereeing seminar was organized by Nepal Savate Association at Dhanwontari futsal, Kathmandu Nepal.

126 participants from different schools/clubs participated and Supervised by Mr. Jean Pascal Santoro. Seminar focused on kicking and Assaut fight.

In the closing ceremony, chief guest former assistant minister, Mr Biraj Bahadur Bista, special guest Mr. Jean Pascal, guest Arie Hoogandoorn from Netherland, vice President Dadhi Ram Kandel distributed certificates to all participants and president Laxman Basnet gave the token of appreciation to Mr.Jean Pascal for his contribution of development of Savate in Nepal.

In the ceremony Mr. Jean Pascal said that he had shown many potential players who can be champion in the near future in international events and he is very happy because of Savate growing in Nepal very fast.

President Basnet gave thanks to all participants and supporters as well as “Savate Live” to make successful seminar.
