The Second Nepal Open Savate (French Boxing) championship was organized by Nepal Savate Association on the 5th of October 2024 in Bhaktapur.
A total of 253 athletes and officials (67 men and 186 women) participated from 33 different districts of Nepal.
In The Medal ceremony Chief Guest Dipak Lama Member Secretory of Bagmati State Sports Council, Guests Durga Dulal administrative officer of Bagmati sports, Dilip KC former president of Bhaktapur district sports, Siddhi Benzankar president of Lalitpur sports training center, Sanish Lageju vice president of national Taekwondo Association- Nepal and president Laxman Basnet presented medals and certificates to the all winners.
Master Laxman Basnet President & Chief Instructor of Nepal Savate association and Bachhan Deuja chief advisor of Chitpol ITF Dojang were jointly inaugurated in the opening ceremony.
7 years old Nirabh Tamang (Male) from Kavre and Ayesha Thapa
Magar (Female) from Kathmandu were elected as the best players in the competitions.
Master Laxman Basnet says that he is confident that the good players of this tournament will participate in the 6th Asian Savate championship 2025, New Delhi – India.
