Tokyo will be the host of the first Asian Savate championships in April-2015.
A historical agreement has been signed between the IOC represented by IOC President Dr. Thomas Bach and AIMS represented by its counterpart Stephan Fox. The signing ceremony was witnessed by 4 Vice Presidents from the IOC, and IOC Director General Christophe De Kepper; this is a testament of the importance of the signing.

The third edition of the World Youth Championship in Savate Assaut fulfilled its promise: a hundred athletes, boys and girls, representing 14 countries and 3 continents. The championship is open to athletes aged from 15 years to 17 years. The city of Plovdiv, European Capital of Culture 2019, hosted the championships. Plovdiv is a tourist town with many Roman ruins.
